Why Dance is just as important as Math in School
What we've always known

While it is something we've always known, we're very pleased that others are starting to understand the benefits of dance training for children as an important part of education and development. While policy makers are often trying to cut performing arts and sport from school programs to favour what are seen as more academic subjects, the research is showing that "physical activity has a positive influence on memory, concentration and classroom behavior." and researchers recommend that students should participate in an hour (or more) of moderate to vigorous physical activity each day.
